· All FULL TIME guards are entitled to the following IMMEDIATELY upon hire:
· NYS Pension and/ or 403B retirement plans
· Excellent medical insurance plan
· Excellent Dental and Optical plans
· For those not in need of medical coverage, but that may want to utilize the dental and optical plans either as their primary coverage, or as supplemental coverage, you may do so and are STILL ENTITLED TO THE MEDICAL BUYOUT!
· Paid sick and personal time
· Paid vacation days for 12 month guards
· Paid training
· Uniforms included at no charge
· Uniform footwear reimbursement

· Current starting BASE pay for new guards is $20.34/hr per hour. $22.34 per hour for enforced law enforcement
**Salary may be supplemented by:
· Medical buyout: For guards that do not need medical benefits, the district will pay in January of each year as follows:
-For single medical plan: $2,500
-For family medical plan: $3,500
* These amounts are prorated based on date of hire.
· Attendance incentive: For guards with perfect attendance, the district will pay $1750 each July.
· Night Differential (if applicable):
-3 pm-11 pm: 7%
-11 Pm– 7 am: 8%
· Supervisory Stipends (if applicable):
-Lead Guard: 5%
-Shift supervisor: 15%
- Longevity pay (compounded):
The district will pay:
-12 years of service: $510
-15 years of service: $770
-20 years of service: $855
-25 years of service: $945
- Additionally, there are many opportunities to earn overtime and holiday pay.
- Any work performed in excess of 40 hours per week is paid at a rate of 1 & 1/2 times your salary per hour.
- Any work performed on a holiday in excess of a 40 hour work week is paid at double time your salary per hour.
- Any work performed on a Sunday in excess of a 40 hour work week is paid at double time your salary per hour (excludes part time guards).
