Anticipated ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL
The successful candidate will provide the leadership necessary to promote a rigorous and comprehensive instructional program that ensures the academic, social, and emotional success of a diverse student body of students in an elementary school setting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent human relations skills
- Outstanding personal and professional integrity
- Demonstrates the ability to be an instructional leader in core subject areas
- Supports teachers during high-quality professional development in literacy and mathematics
- Demonstrated success at implanting an APPR plan designed to raise student achievement for all segments of a diverse student body
- Passionate about teaching and learning for all students
- Valid NYS certification as School Administrator & Supervisor (SAS) or School Building Leader (SBL)
- Prior successful years of relevant school administrative experience
- Thorough knowledge of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Standards & NYS Assessments
- Experience with using student management systems
- Experience implementing socio-emotional skills education
- Successful experience integrating technology initiatives to increase student achievement and engagement aimed at developing 21st-century skills in students
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration among stakeholders, including parents, teachers, staff, and community, in supporting student success
Salary: In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement of MIAA
