The six-week program will operate Monday through Friday from July 6th through August 14th at Longwood Junior High School. ESY is designed to support Special Education students with intensive needs who require a high level of individualized instruction and support in order to prevent significant regression over the summer. | Teaching Assistant (Behavioral Support)- ESY | 2526 LCSD 334 | EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR (ESY) 2026 July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026 TEACHING ASSISTANT (3) Behavioral Support - Provide direct support to students with behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs during the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), accommodations, and support strategies as directed by special education staff and related service providers.
- Assist students in maintaining appropriate behavior in classroom, community-based, and recreational settings.
- Utilize positive behavior supports, reinforcement systems, and de-escalation techniques to promote student success.
- Assist with supervision and safety of students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, and other school-related activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, behavior specialists, therapists, and other staff members to ensure consistent implementation of student support plans.

| 1:1 Special Education Teacher -ESY | 2526 LCSD 333 | EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR (ESY) 2026 July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026 1:1 SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - Provide individualized one-to-one special education instruction to a student in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) during the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
- Develop and implement lessons and activities aligned with the student's IEP goals, objectives, and present levels of performance.
- Collaborate with related service providers, support staff, and administrators to ensure continuity of services and consistency of programming.
- Maintain accurate records, data collection, and progress monitoring documentation throughout the ESY session.
- Utilize positive behavior supports, reinforcement systems, and de-escalation techniques to promote student success.
